In the streets and public spaces of night-time London I projected slides of things and objects that had been in the same place a little earlier or at another time of day.
The projections were done using concealed projectors so that the precise visual image could not be separated from reality. A random passer-by had little way of telling that this was an illusory phenomenon, that the reality was an illusion.
An attack on the perception of reality and the realness of the surrounding environment raises questions about the actual nature of what we regard as absolute truth/ certainty.
